I have a 1993 GS300 that I have tried for a couple of years to come up with some sort of cupholders for the rear seat passengers. I crafted a version that slips over the arm rest, but it looks "eh". My local Lexus dealer can not help. Anyone that can point me in the right direction? Or have a good DIY suggestion? Thank you.

Can't help you, but I suppose that times have changed. My 2010 RX-350 has space dedicated for 2 water bottles and 3 cupholders in front with 2 water bottle carriers and 2 cupholders in back. Must be some legal thingy that makes Lexus want to produce luxury water bottle transportation systems.
1993 was "early" for the auto makers to respond to demand for cup holders. The two front ones are flimsy and, frankly in my not so humble opinion, not up to Lexus' standards. But that was 1993..... I was hoping there would be a replacement arm rest that had the holders imbedded.
