XM Radio text truncation in the ES330

screen, the text that describes the selection (in the case of music, for example, the name of the piece and the composer) is truncated at 10 characters. Is there a remedy for this?

It should be 12 or 16 characters, but there isn't a fix for it. OEM units are a generation behind in the chipsets, and the longer display was added in the current retail chipsets.

There may be a way to scroll to see some additional text, but my OEM unit (Infiniti) doesn't.

Thanks for the information. I got an unsatisfactory response from XM radio and no response (yet) from the dealer. I was hoping that all that was needed was a change in some setting on the unit, but I guess not. I can live with the truncation. There's no scrolling available on my unit either.

I was wondering the same thing. I got XM for my 330 a month ago. Love it other than the truncation. I paid $775 for it and installation in Virginia from the dealer. A friend with a Ford was able to get an audio company to do it for him for $300 and they said they were unable to do it for Lexus's because of the way it is set up. Sucks to have a nice car sometimes. Oh well.
