1993 mits spacewagon spark prob

hi i have a 93 spacewagon, whilst driving i lost spark and had to be towed home so far I've done the following any ideas or help would be great


heres what ive done so far renewed plugs ignition leads replaced coil dizzy cap rotor arm ive also cleaned earthing points that i can see still no spark tho can hear injectors and pump settin up on turn of key and fuel is gettin through tried to see if theres any kind of start/crank sensor as there is on most fuell injection cars but cant see one also there is oil on the timing belt and gear

Seems a bit daft to replace all that lot without having checked first if it was neccesary. Surely it'd have been wise to stick a plug on the output of the coil and cranked it to see if that got you anywhere. That'd have shown you straight away that you had no HT and saved you replacing all those bits.

the coil was diagnosed by a garage tho this turned out to not be the fault as for the other bits they were floating about so worth a try.

Is the camshaft still timed and turning?

nothings wrong with the camshaft dont know much about spacewagons dont know if its the ecu but had a look nothings leaking and it seems very clean.
