Alternator Rectifier Suppliers

I've been trying to source a rectifier pack for a Magneti Morelli alternator (p/n63321239A) from a Rover K engine, all local paths (Glasgow/Edinburgh) lead to 'we can't supply that part sir' . . . so on the basis that someone must be able to supply has anybody got a recommendation for a supplier please ? . . . I cannot believe that nobody supplies a rectifier pack for an alternator that must be in the field in it's millions . . . or am I talking to the 'recon alternator' cartel ?

What you need is one of those grubby little auto electrical specialists. I could point you to a couple in Milton Keynes...

I take it you've done a search for "car electrics" on yell.com?

You should be able to get one from a Rover parts desk. They're not cheap though, ITO £30 IIRC.
