any tips on buying a Morris Minor?

Hi,

not a problem with swapping engines.... I could drop in a 526 (yea chrysler still sells them as crate engines) HEMI in a '68 or earlier MM with no legal problems.

was actually considering buying a driver with a good MOT and an MOT failure as a parts car, pushing them both in a shipping container, and shipping the whole lot back.

Hi,

well a few things for sure... like no AC! (I live in the SOUTH... temperatures in the summer months can reach 100F)

but my saturn is a slow/sluggish little beast (according to the wife, who likes her tyre screaching turbo V6) like the MM... small... shifter on the left... mine's a wagon (yea I'd like a traveler with good wood :-} too) but I appreciate a simple vehicle...

I've got 2 motorcycles... my "modern" bike is a ducati 900ss (a '96 so it's still got carbs) and my other bike is a Triumph Bonneville ('76... so a "new" left shift bike)...so a conventional ignition is "normal" for me... because of an old accident I can't drive a right shift bike.
