I do know how to replace them... But, I've seen poor results[1] from these alternatives and [1] either brake lights stuck on, or lights completely non functional. So me third purchase, VW original?

Are third party brake switches for VW group vehicles all crap?

Given the OE part is cheap, and usually in stock, I'd just buy that.
