Would the MOT examiner be "interested" in the fact that you weren`t running on standard diesel.Does adulteration of fuel ( Veg Oil added) come into the test? What effect would that have on emmissions? Thanks

My old ZX Turbo diesel last year went through it's MOT running on 100% veg in September. Only comment from tester was "running on chip oil is it? oh aye, makes your eyes sting a bit in here".. Emissions slightly down on a diesel too IIRC

Nah, won't be interested - the emissions may be lower too.
So, are you using a separate tank & heater for your veg oil, or are you simply pouring it in the tank through the filler cap?
Does it still start and run OK?

MOT testers just test "as presented" ie it doesn't matter what fuel it is on at the time, same with petrol/LPG vehicles.
