Blowers - not blowing hardly at all (Renault Scenic)

Feb 26, 2007 11 Replies

Does work a little bit but not a great deal. Heaters work as does AC but neither is very effective since the air isnt blown out at any great force....

Could we be talking screwed blower motor here?

Possible, but more likely needs the pollen filter changing.

Common fault on all the top 3 French cars with climate. The plastic connection block attached to the motor gets hot and cracks. Get a replacement from a breakers

Any idea how to get at the pollen filter on a Scenic ???

it comes out from underneath the dashboard, pulls downward by the look of autodata

Use a Class 31.... :o)))

Its in the passenger footwell, look up under the facia and you will se the blower housing and at the right of that there is a plastic cover held on with one screw. Undo that and take off the cover to reveal the filter, make sure you note which way round it goes back.

Underneath the glovebox. It's like a cassette - you pull it out of a slot to remove it.
