BMW 2001 320d power loss

The car sets off as the turbo kicks in and then seems to bottom out power is well down, turbo seems to whistle nicely no smoke, When put on a diagnostic is shows a fault in the heater plug circuit, could it be an injector problem, it certainly feels like a fuel fault, or does the maf apply to that circuit aswell.

First port of call is a blocked exhaust, second is a duff MAF - you'll really need to run the car up the road with an FCR plugged in and watch the live data received from the MAF and compare it to throttle angle and boost.
