I checked the handbook (Ford Puma) and you are correct DOt4 it is, however it doesn't say how much. Nor does Haynes and the Ford dealer wasn't sure (he guessed a litre). Does that sound about right. I shall use an easibleed. Anything to watch out for/be aware of?

Make *absolutely* certain that the Easibleed cap is sealing before applying pressure. Use a maximum tyre pressure of 10psi. Other than that, they work fine.

The short answer to how much it needs is it depends, you normally need to run more through than the actual volume of the system to be sure of getting all the old stuff out, so if you're Ford & it comes in 25 litre drums then it's irrelevant. That's because the amount you need depends entirely on how quickly the air can be taken out of the system. It's not as simple as just saying "it holds X amount of fluid so that's what I need".
