Just had to change a bulb on my daughters MX5. Hadn't encountered HB4 bulbs before. Got confused in Halfrauds (only option as it was after 7:00pm) as I saw HB3 and HB4 which looked the same except for a few watts. If I want to get her some spares could I get just one type and safely be able to use it in either the main or the dipped lights?

They'll interchange ok and they will work, but the hb4 has a black cap for dipped beam whereas the hb3 doesn't. It's better to use the correct bulb to get correct light dispersion.
