C5 behaving like a yo-yo

Yesterday I saw a citroen C5 in a supermarket car park. Parked, presumably locked up and certainly the engine wasn't running. But the front end would go up and own at about 10 seond intervals. It did this for about 10 minutes, then stopped of it's own accord.

Interesting to watch, and good entertainment value, especially the old lady who ran away from it, but what's going on there?

they all do that sir. From Honest John's: "C5's use an electric pump rather than a mechanically driven one as used in previous Citroens and therefore self-level and adjust height with the engine off. I believe the system is supposed to shut down so long after the engine is turned off the save the battery. "

Who will be first to take time lapse photos of a noddy Citroen and stick it on You Tube, I wonder?

there is some talk of getting a pink one and a blue one nose to nose so that they can get synchronised and nod and kiss to each other.

These days it's more likely to be two blue ones.
