Can anyone tell me at what mileage the timing belt on a 1 litre Micra has to be renewed. What is a decent price to pay for this job>

The K10 micra interval is 60,000miles or 6 years, and the previous bubble shape cars use a timing chain, not a belt. However they must have regualar oil changes otherwise the hydraulic tensioner jams, the chain stretches and breaks and usually snaps the nose off the crank rendering the engine scrap.
