Apologies for borrowing the cam belt thread.

It's a Mondeo 1.8 Zetec 5D Hatch, November 2004, 32,000 miles. Petrol, of course. Seems like I'm going to be keeping it for a while after new tyres, new pads & maybe discs. ;-) If I did change I would most likely go for a Focus...

Mazda RX8?, don't need to worry about cam belt or chain.

Can have many sleepless nights about other things going wrong, though.

Old Saabs have Timing chain. Mine has done 173,000 miles still on original chain.
