How do you get the drums of the rear brakes so i can fit new shoes.......

citroen & renault rear drums are a pain in the arse to remove, you need to try and de adjust them by going through the wheel stud hole or try de adjusting the handbrake you might even need a slide hammer bolted to the drum to shift them, which in turns rips all the bloody springs ect off. not stating the obvious but you have got the handbrake off ?
