I started my normal drive to work this morning and I thought. Strange heater not getting warm. The hose underneath the thermostat started to stream water at the end evidently underpressure.
I removed the thermostat connected back up and drove on with the bonnet on first catch and the radiator cap removed to releave the pressure and allowing more air in to cool the engine.
The engine still ran hot. Red light on.
I've decided to call it a day with this car. It has served well over the last year and has totalled 130,000. But what do you think went wrong? Water pump?
