Cleaning Paint off car

Jul 05, 2005 1 Replies

Hello

I am currently trying to sell my car and use a back to black product on the wheels and some trim..

It was getting dark and today I have noticed I have some on the alloys etc..

I did not realise it is like Black paint!!!.

What is the best way to remove it from the places it should not be???

I have some alcohol wipes?? Any best ideas please.

Also I want some black plastic type stuff to cover scuffs on the sills?? any places on the high street for this??

Thanks in advance

meths will probably remove the overspray wipe it off afterwards and repolish the area as it does a fair job of dewaxing too and anti-stonechip paint is handy stuff for the sills available in various colours I have grey and black in my garage both give good adhesion - grey if you intend to spray a touch up colour Derek "making curmugeonality an artform"
