OK, so I probably spelt that wrong, but anyway.
A while ago I got a set of Kamasa hit through screwdrivers for around a fiver at the local motor factors. They're great, they've been levers, chisels, etc, and only one shows any sign of real damage, and that was used to chisel the steering lock off a 309 (the owner had lost the key, and the car was being scrapped).
I then bought another set at a local big show/ autojumble, for about the same price. Used the smaller ones as screwdrivers a couple of times on fairly loose fittings, noticed the chrome had chipped off. Then the first time I used the large flat headed to chisel off a nut, the end buckled, and where the chrome fell off, the end looked a bit like copper. This set has much poorer finished handles, the logo is all but worn off after a short amount of usage, and they just feel wrong.
Is it likely I've bought fakes?
