fiesta 1.4 2003 16v Accessory Drive Belt noise Not the belt sounds like a dry seal poss water pump only heard on idle with slight rev increase noise goes,New belt fitted made no differance Sounds a bit like when you fit a new oil seal to a engine and do not lubricate the seal the noise you get then is the same but on the 16v engine so many pulleys/idlers/tensioners difficult to diagnose any ideas thanks Mike

Take the accessory belt off, is the noise still there? if so then I would change the cambelt, tensioners and water pump all in one go. If it is the same as the 1.25 engine the cam belt has to come off to get the water pump off in any case.
