Just bought a 96 Fiesta Ghia, having had my old Astra stolen and torched by mindless morons. But now find that the Fiesta alarm appears faulty - when set using the remote or the key, the red LED doesn't flash on the dash. But, if I then open (using a key) and reclose the tailgate, it starts flashing normally. No other combination seems to make it work.
Anyone know what the fault might be, and how to rectify?
