1.8 04 petrol focus ghiaI know the focus needs a special calcium battery ? something to do with the smart charge system so you can't use a regular lead one.
Basically his battery has given up the ghost after 8 loyal years.
He spotted a bosch s4 075 battery 60Ah/540cca at his local motor factors BUT they don't know anything about calcium ones but it is as listed for the focus. The battery is £55 which is decent I think.
Will this battery live happily with the smart charge system of the focus or should he seek more info on this.
