How do I get the number plate light bulb out?
Its a T Plate estate and I can't see any screws on the outside

The holder just prizes out.
It uses festoon bulbs - yuck! The usual reason for the light failing is corrosion on the end of the bulb and on the holder contacts. Clean it all up and coat with something like vaseline on reassembly.

That's if it's not corroded away to nothing.
It's a crap design, with little in the way of sealing to keep water out.
