In the past my 1998 Ford Mondeo developed a niggling problem where the airbag light flashed four times, stopped and then repeated the flashing etc etc. I was aware of the fact that this indicated a possible fault with the seat belt pre tensioner circuitry and have, on several occasions, undone the yellow connectors under the front seats along with the one in the footwell and cleaned them. This seems to solve the problem in the short term but it always seems to flash again at some stage in the future, particularly in humid weather. Can anyone offer any tips as to how I may be able to solve the problem ?
