Just had a local guy check it out and it looks like Tim is correct, got some strange readings on the air flow.Ordered a new AMM from a local factor £156
- vat, better than VW, £199 + vat Just hope it solves the problem, Thanks guys, Paul.

I will bet a new AMM solves your power problem, you have all the characteristics of a duff one. However unless they are really bad, you normally struggle to pickup any strange readings with a 'scope / dvm etc so your car must be seriously down on power!
