Front wheel bearings

Feb 23, 2004 1 Replies

I would like to replace the front wheelbearings on a 1999 Kia pride, (same as old mazda 121)

how difficult is it? will i need special tools?

ps last time i replacved front wheel bearings it was on an Austin Maxi. and it was pretty straightforward.

will trhis be as easy or have things changed?

thanks

DEpend. They can be a sod to get out and you'll need a vidce to press it back in. You're going to need a balljoint splitter and torque wrench at the very least.
