I have a very noisy fuel pump on a Nova GSI. Ive noticed that there are a lot of air bubbles in the fuel line between the tank and the pump, could this be causing the pump to be noisy? I can see/detect no leaks in either the feed or return fuel lines or any of the tank fittings. Is air in the feed to the pump normal? does it matter? the car runs OK. Is this time to buy another pump?
