When I bought my car last August I bought some nice matching blue alloy tyre valve caps. Tasteful? Maybe, but they look nice and match well!
Fast-forward to last week and they've stuck. Really stuck. At the 12,000 mile service the garage couldn't remove them no matter how they tried. I've been squiring WD40 at them for a week with no luck. To wrench them too hard will result in a trip to the local tyre centre for 4 x valves/balances. (Money I really would rather not spend)
Has anyone any ideas on how best to remove these internally corroded valve caps? Am I best 'crunching' them with pliers? More WD40? Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance
A
