How long to repair..

Roight...they've hoiked the 205 off to repair it. The guy that collected didn't know how long it'd take.

It's got a dented door, dented rear wing and chipped bumper. How long will this take to repair? Will it take a week? Two? Three?

Do they push the panels back into shape or do they have to fill them with filler? Will they repair the door or replace the entire panel, assuming medium damage?

I'm afraid it depends on how keen they are to get the job finished. Anything more than two weeks would be silly, though, assuming they don't have to wait for parts. But of course Xmas is coming up and that's a great excuse for delays.

It really depends on how bad the damage is. A new door skin might cost 50 quid, so if the damage is bad they'll put on a new one. Shouldn't require a new door unless the frame is badly damaged.

It's usual to use a skim of filler after beating out the dent - but how thick this is depends on the skill of the repair.

And whether they are supplying a replacement car that can go on the insurance bill?
