Quite amazing. I presume that, as there is no fuel or ignition system, it is a static display. Rotated by some external device perhaps. Nevertheless, a remarkable display of a good engineer's skill and patience. Well done that man!

I gave myself the nerdy "Build yourself combustion engine" plastic kit (£18 in MenKind post Xmas), this was quite fun to assemble until the point where just one valve spring was missing from the kit. I'm 100% sure that was the case, but difficult to convince the shop. Had to buy a second kit to complete the engine, oh well. BTW, I asked the shop if I could just drop it in my car...

I wonder why it is described as 14 cylinder when there are only ten big ends and ten cylinders? or would the other 4 be in the donkey engine to get it running?

They make it with differing numbers of cylinders, the pictures of the crank & block is a 10rta96c, the built pictures a 12rta96C.
