We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "Dave Plowman (News)" saying something like:
Might have been a different story if the Abos were organised and had decent weapons. From what I can make out, Australia was a pretty s*it place to attempt to colonise anyway; even the Abos thought it was s*it, but it was their s*it.
