Don't drive it in London if its registered before 1/1/2002 - it will cost £100 per day to enter the Low Emission Zone, and £500 per day if you don't pay the £100.

Do you mean to say that your camper isn't registered as a diesel with the DVLA? Surely that's breaking some sort of law?

Mine's 1988, and exempt from the LEZ on two completely separate and unrelated grounds.
It starts at the boundary of the London Boroughs in all places, except for a couple of major artery routes in.

Just been asking around for quotes. A local recommended garage that does a lot of commercial vehicles reckoned on 4 hours. Admittedly, their computer was down but this was from one of the mechanics there who seemed to know his stuff.
Seems a big difference between 1hr and 4hr. Any thoughts?
