Is this a scam to locate desirable cars, remember that a post code gives your location even down to two or three doors in some cases (it certainly ID's your street) or just a stupid Spammer trying to have there internet account cancelled ?
Dunno, I've just been done for speeding, first offence in 20 years of driving cars and bikes (damn it) mebbe I should bite the cherry? Remember, there are people out there using unet for business, not just spam. I wouldn't think my £500 Volvo 740 Estate is worthy of being nicked, unless there is a gang of bikers out there who still hate Volvos. All new bikers are born again wusses. One speeding ticket is hardly going to bump your premium up unless you were ridiculously over the limit.
As for the Insurance claim I'd agree with Jerry. Getting folks cars / addresses gives a nice little database of what prestige cars live where that have a 72 year old unable to defend himself. Cars to order.

I quite agree, but most have a web site and most have some other means of contact (either phone number or (hard) mail address).

It is not a "scam". I work for an insurance broker who offer this product and as an employee I'm allowed to refer "friends & family". I'm trying to earn a few pounds by gaining some referrals. That is all. I appreciate your concern and to that end I will be refining how I chase referrals but this is genuine.

Did I say there is anything wromg with black? Thats old style. My style. I was going on about the fluorescent s**te thats out there now. In case it wasn't clear, I'm a biker but I have a Volvo to transport the kids. I love finding a broken down fellow biker when I'm in the Volvo, cos he is gobsmacked when I stop to help. PS I do stop for Jap bikers too.
