Jet wash - wax option

My advice would be to avoid any type of car wash that waxes!

I'm forced to use car washes following a back injury at present and kept wondering why the windscreen was always covered in a waxy film when I used the wipers. The film is the very devil to remove, and seriously reduces visibility.

I've found that by picking wash programmes that *don't* wax, I don't have the problem. I would guess that the jet wash waxing method would create the same problem.

Due to lack of time and a trip to airport tomorrow to meet the inlaws and a car covered in the usual mud and winter crud , i paid one of the immigarnt guys at ASDA to do it this morning for a fiver. And a bloody good job too.

...cos the inlaws always said "oh, look at 'im and 'is dirty car."

Presentation my dear Sean. Vover in mud and crud , will get on there clothes as they get in and out . Says a lot about there son in law as well. Hes a nice clean chappy sort of stuff.

I have found that truck was is great.... also for oilstains and allsorts..

Available from you local truck/wagon parts place....

Blue stuff looks like screen wash but isn't, really powerful too for allsorts of things, fantastic for killing ants!

My partners son sent me some spray soap stuff from Canada. Its a wax like soap you spray over your clean car like an aerosol and puts a real deep glossy finish on the car. They use it out there to stop rain and snow freezing to the car.
