Friend has called me this morning, his Ka is overheating. His local garage reckons that it's the heater valve that's seized causing it.
Is this possible? The rad is only getting slightly warm. I'd have thought thermostat..
There is no coolant loss and no poor running. It runs fine most of the time and has only overheated the last few days where it's been really hot and stuck in town.
