M reg Cavierlier 1.8, follow up

Wit regards to a past posting concerning stalling and lack of power with an M reg Cavailer and an inquiry as to if there are any known issues I can report on the following fndings.

In order the following items were changed up.

MAF sensor. Single point injector assembly. Fuel pump assembly.

The fault has now dissapeared completely, normal operation has been restored. Replacement of the MAF sensor did not provide a fix but the fault only dissapeared on replacement of the other two parts which implies either a dodgy injector unit or for the second time in two years, replacement of the fuel pump unit. However, the removed injector unit was in very good conditon which implies that the fuel pump in the tank was the main culprit. Naturally the owner is reluctant to play swap the parts back in to identify the fault as the car is now ok but intends to send the SPI away at the first instance for a checkover.
