I was just wondering how much a mechanic makes a week ?
I know there are more variables to add to that but just wondering a ball park figure ...

probably about 400 a week upwards if they are employed. but there are massive variations country wide. my local council pay about 10 pounds an hour for qualified vehicle fitters.
a neighbour of mine is a bus mechanic, he works a lot of hours every week, I picked up a wage slip that he had dropped, I had to look and see who it belonged to, his yearly take home before tax was 53,000
