can anyone help me out,i have a mk5 rs2k on a j reg,when i accelerate hard it goes ok upto 4500 rpm then starts to pluck and begins to misfire alot,i have just put new plugs in it and the problem has only just started ,is there a correct setting for the plugs or are they factory set??

How easily did the spark plug leads come off, they have a habit of breaking when you change them. & IIRC they should be gapped to 1mm.

They're coil on plug.

Maybe you left a plug improperly installed, or damaged/loosely fitted one of the HT leads?
