Left my car parked overnight and this morning I checked to find that the lights were blinking - what would have caused this as there was no break in?
It happened two weeks ago as well, but that was when I left the car with the parking lights on.

Had the car long? If not then its probably the alarm triggering and the previous owner just disconnected the siren rather than fixing the problem.
Had this on my Mk 2 and it was the bonnet switch. About £16 from fords and very easy to swap.
