Thought I had diagnosed this problem with reading up, there is a unit behind the top of the suspension unit on the passenger side. (see how technical i am with this sort of stuff)
anyway the unit clicks when the engine is running and was told that the stop solenoid had failed and this was causing the noise.
So did a search and the only pictures i can see of stop solenoid do not in anyway resemble the unit.
Please help..
