Anyone know if the Mondeo MKII 6-speed intermittent wiper stalk can be used to 'upgrade' a single intermittent speed stalk?

Yes, it can be done, I have done it. You'll find one for a few quid in a breakers. I did have a spare, but it's long since been "tidied" :)
