Being an enthusiast, I like different. MoT exemption is different. It gives me something to stir up eurobox drivers with. Anyone that suggests MoT exemption is an excuse for an unroadworthy vehicle needs to step outside. Grrrr. I am very proud of the condition of my cars.

The 1988 Road traffic act 1988 section 44(3) says special vehicles are exempt, if you follow the paperwork further up it's own ar$e you find that a recovery truck (that lifts and drags, rather than carries on a bed) is in the list of special vehicles. It makes no mention of weight. But them the RTA 1988 has been ammended many times, so.....it just means they were exempt. This form V22/G may shed light on it's cousin forms. Anyone got a V22/G in their drawer??
