Saw a glimpse of a worrying TV advertisement from DVLA that my car wouldbe illegal if I didn't get a new log book by 1'st July 2005. This is thefirst and only notification I've had about this requirement. I find it astonishing that DVLA rely on this method of communication forsuch an important issue. What happens if you don't have a TV? If you havea TV but don't see that particular advertisement? If you generally don'tpay attention to TV advertisements?

I saw that and I have no recollection what-so-ever of being told about it. Its a typical Labour Government poly - making everybody else guilty of doing something / non doing something, when you know nothing about.
