2001 FWD 2L Tranny. I'm unsure of the alternator model on this, but it's probably fairly common on this range - Mk6. The bearings are starting to rattle a bit (flood damage last November) and I'd like to strip/rebuild it. Anybody know if there's any special tool needed and will the bearings come out easily? Also, I'm hoping there's nothing special about the bearings - anyone got a bearing number? I've stripped plenty of older Lucas jobs, but not up to speed on more modern kit - so far this has been quite reliable.
