Hallo,
I noticed yesterday that there is a sort of "grinding" noise accompanied by the occasional metallic "clunk" coming from the back of my Seat Ibiza, somewhere near the wheels.
The noise sounds very similar to when the front brake pads on my wife's old Renault 5 wore down, albeit without the occasional "clunk" :)
I assume that it is a problem with the brakes somewhere - my brother thinks it is probably the brake shoes.
I'm taking it in to a garage tonight for them to have a look at tomorrow - what sort of cost can I expect to pay if it is the brake shoes that need fixing? This is my first experience with taking a car to a garage to be fixed so I've no idea what sort of labour charges I can expect or anything.
