Pug or Citroen???

what's best - a little pug 106/206 or a Saxo???? Don't think we can afford a Fabia. Hyundai Accents are as cheap as chips in our area and would probably do us for 5 yrs. Current car has been owned by us for 14.5 yrs so not toooo worried about residual values - just cost of running, repairs etc,.

They're both about the same IMO. We've got a 106 that hasn't been too well maintained in the past but parts aren't expensive and there are quite a few specialist garages locally which are cheaper than the main agents. You'll probably find that the Saxo has the same engine and similar/the same running gear. Dunno about Hyundais but I believe they're ok just a bit tinny.

Bonny ( snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.com) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :

Saxo and 106 are the same car. There's no direct Citroen equivalent to a

206, though - the next step up is the Xsara which is a 306.

just to add, Hyundai are usually a bit heavy on fuel!
