Question about gasoline

Hello,I have noticed around my area there is a substantial difference betweentwo gas stations.The first is independently owned while the second is one of the morewell known companies, Exxon. The price of premium grade gasoline atthe Independent station is $2.82 while the price of regular at theExxon is $2.85.Why is there a big discrepency between the pricing? Is the type ofgasoline different between the two stations?

Nah, it's not malicious, just a bit of friendly banter. I was in Australia recently and all the Americans there were aware and didn't really mind, it's just a bit of a self depreciation thing really.

A self depreciation thing in terms that they don't mind about it. Not that they think they actually smell.
