starting on friday sept. 12, Americans will boycott all Mobil gas stations. the boycott will last until Mobil reduces their prices back down to reality. other stations will be targeted after Mobil.
the only way to send a message is to act.

Heh... I doubt these boycott schemes work... but if people think they are doing something worthwhile, I guess it is good for their psyche. Won't matter much to me, I religiously use either Chevron fuel or the gas station on the Navy base (NEX prices meet or beat anywhere within 20 miles, as a rule.) My 4Runner seems to love either one, as long as I put low grade in it. She's easy to please. Come to think of it, I haven't seen a Mobil station around here. Must be a regional thing. Dee

Good fukin' luck mate. Why don't you do something that will make a difference like ride a motorcycle? Mine gets 50+ mpg and does 0-60 in less than 5 sec. That'll be a helluva lot better than a bunch of hand-wringing bed-wetting calls for a boycott.

Why not include Exxon stations?...all part of ExxonMobil Corp. My problem with boycotting is that independent Mobil-brand station owners, who already pay more for gasoline than company owned stations get charged, are hurt the worse--and they have no control over the priced they're charged for product. The same thing holds true for all independent owners of major branded stations.

You think Mobil gives a crap? Run down to the local curb store and buy theirs. Where do you think their fuel comes from?
