Removing a rounded-off glowplug

yeah, follow where the fuel pipe come out of the fuel filter. If it says Bosch, run it on 50:50 veg/diesel. If it says Lucas (like mine) well, I've ran 2000 miles on almost straight bio now so the Lucas can either handle it (as suggested on a website I saw), or I'm chancing it...

People do sell it at the pump; the two places I've bought it from are industrial units with a pump inside. They're happy to sell it in bulk, I usually buy 60 litres in containers on top of filling the tank up, because I don't have a local supplier that I know of. They'll sell it in whatever bulk quantities you want, they've got IBC's, drums etc.

Yeah, look on the side down toward the bottom of the car, it'll have a Lucas badge on it ;)

ISTR the Bosch one has a different arrangement for it's cables but I can't remember what it looks like. There is a picture in my Haynes manual, but I can't find it lol

A quick bit of googling suggests the bosch is the pump to have (according to Elsbett, a fatherland SVO conversion firm), so you might be chancing it.

The Bosch one's shorter but that doesn't really help unless you've got a Lucas one to compare it with :-)

Mine has the lucas pump. I can take a pic if it would be useful for elimination.

Bosch is the one to have for running Bio - the lucas has the weak shaft inside the pump somewhere which can go snap if you use gloopy fuel.

The filling station has closed but I believe the members club still exists.

Bio is no gloopier than dino. Veg oil is. Veg will kipper a lucas pump without modifications to the fuel system, a Bosch will be fine.
