Hi,
Do all Rover 25s (1.4 engine) since 2001 have the K Series engine, and are the head gasket problems affecting all of them (or up to 2005 in this case)?

If the motor is not cooked when the HG failed, and it is replaced *properly* with the X-part kit, inc modded girdle, steel dowels, multi layer HG, head checked and skimmed if necessary, and possibly the modded thermostat housing added where applicable (roughly a £750 job) then it is then sorted once and for all.
A 25 wouldnt really warrant this work, but something like a MGF might.
