The head gasket has blown on my S reg Renault Megane 1.4 and I've been told that a product called K-Seal is worth trying as an alternative to a costly repair, in the region of £380 - £550. Has anyone used this before and does it work with a blown head gasket?

If you plan to keep the car for awhile, then no- you will f*ck the engine invariably.
If you want it oil/water tight whilst you sell / auction it then it is worth a go.
